Nigerian Makeup Brands

Hello Beauties,

Am here with a haul on Nigerian Makeup Brands. Have you ever wondered like me about what Makeup products in Naija market are actually owned by Nigerians (either by makeup artists or cosmetics lovers).

Many Nigerians are into the distributorship business and as such import makeup brands ranging from: L'oreal,Iman,Sacha,Marykay,Flori Roberts,MAC,Black opal,Revlon,MUD,Cover girl,Black up,Black Radiance,Forever living and many more even nameless ones but few Nigerians own(i mean established a cometics line)a makeup brand.

Nigeria is an emerging market for Makeup Artists(either freelance MUA's or intending MUAs) and Lovers of makeup(brides and everyday woman) so its kind of expected that there should be more beauty and skin care products and makeup brands owned, circulated and controlled by Nigerians because i believe that as a Nigerian and an African you get to understand the weather conditions and skin infections that are prone to our skin so you make reasearches and come out with products containing not just SPF(for sunscreen) but also anti-bacterial and fungi treatments.

And so i have been able to gather the few Nigerian makeup brands that i know of and they will be discussed below:

First post.......Just got started

Hi Beauties,

Am so excited writing my very first post and its crazy combining it with my Human Resources job but i just cant help feeling complete with makeup anywhere i may find myself. Please pardon me for any errors or alterations,am sure i will get better with time.

My first huge experience with makeup was after reading Vogue magazine that my brother brought home during one of my holidays when i was in High School but i started my professional tour on makeup towards my last year in the University when my friends would call me up for a quick makeover on them, though i was still very much inexperienced but they saw the passion and zeal in me.

I got inspired to start my own blog by reading beauty blogs and discovered that only few Nigerians share the beauty of our traditional weddings unlike many blogs that show the rich culture of Indian, Asian weddings.

Well am gonna start posting i do hope you get to see me my own way but you can be of help by leaving your comments and requests and tips.

Kisses.....
